OK the shock now has a reservoir attached for no other reason than I wanted to explore the process of making it and the frame is under construction. I must admit having built and played with motorcycles in the real world for more years than I can remember to be able to make one in 3D is great fun especially as I don't have to stick to the rule book. The other great thing about building virtual motorcycles is that it doesn't cost me anything to change the look of the front end I can run with a standard SR 500 front end change my mind 5 minutes later and give it a GSXR upside down set-up or even make it into a springer front end should the desire occur. Also I have never seen a café racer with a single sided swinging arm and mono shock and I am getting tempted hahaha. So to the purists out there that may be looking at my blog and saying oh it must have this or is must do that I apologise but this is an exercise in hard surface modelling in Zbrush not is SR 500 construction/restoration. Back into Zbrush for me and I will post images/videos when I have them.
