Okay Zbrush hint for all of you old school Zbrush users when doing a mesh extract in 4.2 Revision b Pixologic have now added an accept button. In order to get your mesh extraction you must click Accept after you click Extract.

Having not noticed this button as I have extract set up on a hot key I hope this information will save your computer from getting sworn at and hours of frustration.
